The Tashatit Association is committed to providing an accessible and equitable browsing experience for all users, including people with disabilities.
The Tashatit Association operates in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and with the relevant accessibility regulations applicable to digital services.

Below are the accessibility features implemented on this website:

Accessibility adjustments were made according to the recommendations of the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) for web content accessibility, at least at Level AA, as well as the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines. This standard is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 published by the international organization responsible for web standards.
The website supports all popular browsers, such as Internet Explorer 10 and above, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox.
The website is optimized for mobile browsing (responsive design).
Users may submit accessibility-related feedback.

The following actions have been implemented to improve website accessibility:

Heading structure – A main heading (H1) is placed on each page.
Operation via screen-reader shortcut keys.
Maintaining sufficient contrast between text and background according to the required standard, with an option to view the website in black-and-white.
Use of clear and readable fonts.
Use of descriptive links that clarify the target or purpose of the link.
A clear and easy-to-use navigation menu.
Proper DOM order, enabling site navigation using a keyboard and screen readers.
Alt text – Textual descriptions for images to assist visually impaired users.
Keyboard-accessible navigation – Setting navigation and activation via keyboard only, according to the recommendations of the international organization (W3C).
