The Fabric of Life
The Fabric of Life initiative emerged in response to the immense loss that has shaken Israeli society since October 7, 2023, and throughout the war. Its purpose is to cultivate continuity and hope. The initiative connects families affected by the war with artists in a shared process of remembrance, creation, and commemoration.
We choose to echo the life stories of those we have lost - their dreams and aspirations - through art.
This is a journey of remembrance, documentation, storytelling, and creation. It holds within it the opportunity for deep connection, attentive listening, and the mending of fractures.
The aim of the initiative is to strengthen the choice of life and amplify the light. It carries the opportunity for new connections, mutual contribution, and the reinforcement of personal and social resilience. Moreover, the participants of Life Fabric invite the wider public to encounter those we have lost, gain guidance - both ethical and emotional - experience engagement, and cultivate gratitude.
