Ot.Haim
A person’s handwriting is unique - there is no other like it. It reflects something of their personality, something of their essence.
Creating a font in their name preserves a sign of life (Ot Chaim) they leave behind in our world.
The Ot Chaim initiative was born from the pain, sorrow, and collective mourning we all share following the brutal attack on Israel.

Designers are creating fonts based on the handwriting of those murdered or fallen in the Iron Swords War on October 7, 2023 (may their memory be a blessing), in close collaboration with the bereaved families, as a way to memorialize their loved ones.
All those involved in the initiative are volunteering their time and skills.
Each font is named after the person being commemorated and is published under their name.
All fonts will be available for download on the initiative’s website, alongside a photo of the original handwriting sample, a portrait of the individual, and their life story.
The fonts will be free to use on any computer and in any home - for families, students, educators, designers, and anyone who wishes to honor their memory.
In this way, we hope that something of the personality and uniqueness of our loved ones will be preserved - and shine light into the world.
