The Empty Stroller Club

The Empty Stroller Club is a community home for people who have left the religious world, born out of a genuine need for connection, sharing, mutual understanding, and collective growth. The initiative offers a safe and professional space to explore identity, relationships, sexuality, culture, and belonging in life after leaving the religious world.

Diverse Hands Together

Through process-based workshops, social gatherings, cultural events, a Beit Midrash for people from religious backgrounds who have left the religious world, and a wide range of content and lectures, we create a vibrant community grounded in life experience, professional knowledge, and open hearts.

In our meetings and workshops, we explore the complexities and challenges that accompany the creation of our relationships-romantic, sexual, social, and familial. Together, we learn about healthy sexuality, dating, and building connections on the path toward partnership and within relationships. In the social club, we engage with questions of identity, culture, and the gaps we experience between the families we come from and the secular world. The club offers a space to find companions for the journey and for shared experiences.
